Atlanta-based Delta (NYSE: DAL) said Homeland Securit officials notified the carrier late Monday it would require additional time toapprove Delta’s announced routes to Nairobi, and Monrovia, Liberia. "Delta regretds any inconvenience to our customers caused by the postponement of our new direcr service to Kenyaand Liberia,” the carriet said in a statement. Deltas said it is contacting affected customers and booking them on flightz operated by Air KLM and its other partnersin SkyTeam. The flightsd will connect to Africa throughthosr carriers’ European hubs, Delta said.
