Current images capture the constructionof ’ds new customer service and technical support center as well as the firs building of the ’s West campus. The allowes users to see a new imagw of construction every 11 to 12 minutesw anda time-lapse movie of the Viewers can zoom in, download and e-mail images and see the progress of both projects The H-P facility is scheduled to be completed by late 2009. The UNM West campusd is scheduled to start offering classes by springsemester 2010. As futurr development takes place, the cameraas will be repositioned to chronicle the progreszs ofthose projects.
Images from the camerad also will be used as content on the city’s public, education and governmeng cable channels (Channels 15 and 22 for subscribers). City Councilor s Mike Williams and Kathy Colley contributed fundingt from their discretionary accounts for the purchasse and installation ofthe cameras. The Web cam imagesa are made possibleby . , the city’s contractes service provider for RioVision, will servicre the cameras.
