A total of $260 million in Public Health Emergency Responsr grantsand $90 million in Hospital Preparednesds grants will be distributed Public Health Emergency Response grantas help state public healtjh departments prepare for potential vaccinationm campaigns, implement strategies to reduce people’s exposure to the 2009 nove H1N1 flu, and improve influenza surveillancwe and investigations.
